Madeline Chandler is a self-starting multi-disciplinary creative with a passion for writing, visual arts, and other storytelling mediums. During her undergraduate education, Madeline pursued majors in Studio Arts and English and Comparative Literature, focusing her studies on creative writing, digital publishing, painting, and videography. In 2022, she complete her Honors Thesis in Poetry, which was a 60-page manuscript of original poetry titled Taking the Shape of a Shell. In this collection, Madeline explores the social, psychological, and ecological nature of southern rurality through the lens of growing up on Hatteras Island in North Carolina. Since graduating in 2022, Madeline has been freelancing and picking up meaningful skills along the way. Some of her freelance work includes content creation and management for the restaurant, The Mad Crabber, and coordinating and promoting events for a start-up nonprofit, Heart Space.
